Policy Stances
-Kansas Residency
At least 51% ownership in any license application must be a resident of Kansas for at least 24 concurrent months at the time of application.
-Patient Access
All patients residing within our state boundaries should have access to medical cannabis, including reciprocity recognition of other state medical cannabis laws
-Good Manufacturing Processes
Policy should include language which requires all license holders to abide by good manufacturing processes
-Sensible Licensing Fees
Licensing and re-licensing fees by the state and local municipalities shall be reasonable to allow and encourage small business participation in the industry.
-No Caps on Licenses
In an effort to provide optimal patient access, participation of small Kansas businesses, and an open, ethical and transparent industry, we are opposed to any licensing caps
